5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Clique Book!!!
I have read all the other Clique books, but this one was by far my favorite. I read this in one day, because once you get into it, you just can't put it down. I'll tell you a bit about it, but if you haven't read the others, i strongly suggest you start from the beginning.

1.0 out of 5 stars "Invasion of the Fashion-Zombies" by bleh
I completely agree with the reviewer "Scott McKay". We've reduced our youth to obessive, fashion freaks and teen losers. By today's standards, being a "fashion god", a "hottie" and a brat are cool. These books show how immature some of our writers are today.
Have some sort of value and when your daughter comes home from the bookstore with a bagfull of "The...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Clique Book!!!, September 3, 2006
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
I have read all the other Clique books, but this one was by far my favorite. I read this in one day, because once you get into it, you just can't put it down. I'll tell you a bit about it, but if you haven't read the others, i strongly suggest you start from the beginning.

Alicia's beautiful cousin Nina from Spain spends the semester at OCD, and all the boys LOVE her. She dresses in revealing, sexy outfits, and has alot of boy experience. Massie, Alicia, and Claire despise her because she's a show-off, and has kicked Massie out of the number one spot at OCD (Octavian Country Day School). Kristen and Dylan like her because she will give a pair of stylish boots to whichever girl wins a bet. I'm not going to tell you why Nina is really evil, you have to read the book for that.

I reccomend the whole Clique series to people who are too young to read "The It Girl". They have similar concepts, but that book is for older teens. However, there are curses in these books and phrases like "sluto-rita". Kids under ten or eleven should not be reading this. Anyway, it's a good book, but you should buy the next book, or even the whole series, because you will want to know what happens next, I guarantee that!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Yet, November 26, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
This has to be the best book in the series yet and Lisi Harrison finds something to spice up each book in it's own way.
The Valentine's Day Dance is coming up, and we all know what that means: you better have a date for the dance. But when Nina, Alicia's cousin from Spain visits, it isn't pretty. Secrets will be revealed about Nina and her past and the dance will be such fun. Will Claire move away, or stay? Will Nina be a gal pal, or a total pest? You really should read to find out.
Read the 1st three books or you'll be out of the loop. They are a great investment and you will remember the books for a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars An ah-mazing novel....., April 12, 2006
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
The Invasion of the Boy Snatchers, was the BEST clique book EVER! This novel was more about guys than the other three novels in the series since the relationships between the girls of OCD and the boys of Briarwood (finally!) begin to evolve. But Invasion of the Boy Snatchers still has Massie's witty joke/questions, the Clique's glamorous clothes and the usual drama that follows the Clique like a lost puupy.

Alicia's super hot cousin, Nina, comes to Westchester from Spain. Nina is competition for Massie as she has more experience with boys and Kristen (who now looks like a boy thanks to a horrid haircut) and Dylan easily fall into her clutches. Meanwhile, Kristen and Dylan aren't the only people Nina seems to have spellbound. Nina managed to get the attention of Derrington, Cam and Josh and prevent them from talking to Massie, Claire and Alicia. Massie, Claire (who can't stop talking about wanting to kiss Cam) and Alicia finally decide they have to do something and unleash their cattiness at the Valentine's Love Struck Dance.

The end of the novel was part expected and part unexpected. It really made me want to read the next novel because I'm dying to find out what happens next. Will Claire finally get that kiss from Cam? Will something happen between Massie and Derrington? Guess I'll just have to read the next novel :D

5.0 out of 5 stars Another installment of fun escape reading, November 1, 2005
By
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
The fourth book in the Clique series begins with a secret. Massie knows Claire is moving away, although Claire has no idea --- and it's killing Massie! Claire is the sister Massie never had, and Massie already misses her. So when Claire's father announces the move, Claire is the shocked one.

However, Massie's father talks them into staying by offering more pay and a totally rebuilt guesthouse. In the meantime, Claire's family will stay in Massie's house during the renovation. Massie is thrilled that Claire is staying, but she is NOT thrilled to have a roommate. She loves her room the way it is, plus she knows her other friends will be envious of the new living arrangements.

Speaking of envy, Alicia's cousin, Nina, is visiting from Spain. She is too beautiful and way too flirtatious with Massie and Claire's crushes. All the boys are very impressed. Some of Massie's clique are also impressed with Nina's fashion style and experience with boys --- and that burns Massie up.

As the Valentine's Day dance approaches, excitement bubbles through Massie's group. In order to take the guy they like to the dance, they must shoot him with a Velcro-tipped arrow. Of course, Massie has her eye on not only going with Derrington, but also for them to be crowned as the most popular couple, with the prestigious Cupid Award. However, Nina announces she can (and will) arrow every one of their crushes if the clique isn't nice to her.

As the roommate situation worsens, Massie's things start vanishing. Massie turns accusatory. Can she discover who the thief is? Will she dethrone Nina?

Once again, the mean girls make for intriguing reading. Although many of their actions continue to be cringe-worthy, they occasionally show a hint of heart. The frequent brand name dropping is fun (although it may date the series in the near future): Massie describes the feeling she gets around her crush as "...weak and tingly, like all the cells in her body had turned into Diet Coke bubbles...." Other amusing bits of whimsy include Claire telling fortunes with candy hearts and Kristen speaking in word jumbles ("Rorsy" for "Sorry"). The situation with the newcomer sets up some explosive reactions. It all makes for another installment of fun escape reading for Clique series fans to devour with gusto.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Book!!!, November 25, 2005
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
I think The Invasion of the Boy Snatchers is a really great book. It's very much like a real school and the drama is something that I can relate to in real life.

This story is the fourth in the series of Clique books, which are about Massie, a popular, fashionable, and rich girl; and Claire, a loser beyond repair (as Massie puts it) who's family lives with Massie's. In this book, one of Massie's best friend's beautiful cousin Nina from Spain comes to visit America. Massie and Claire become jealous when Nina steals their best friends, their boyfriends, and not to mention Massie's popularity. When they find out that Nina has been stealing from the whole school, they are both determined to show everyone that Nina is not only a thief, but that she is also really a geek.

This is a really good book for anyone who is into lots of drama, or for anyone who is into the Clique series, however, I wouldn't recommend it to someone who hasn't read all of the previous books. The story is never slow or boring and is a stay-up-all-night book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book in the series yet!, December 9, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
'Invasion of the Boysnatchers' was by far my favorite book in the series. The big valentines day dance is approaching OCD, and Massie's hoping to be asked by Derrington, her ultra crush from Briarwood, as are the other girls from the Pretty Committe who are hoping to go with the guys they like. However, when Alicia's Spanish cousin, Nina, comes to town, things change fast. Massie and her group are pushed aside as everyone starts looking up to Nina as the head of the school, and Massie is outraged. And it doesn't help that Claire has moved into her room and is taking up all of her space with her tacky things. In this book, Massie is thinking only one thing...revenge.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Adventure Continues, October 8, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
In book #4 of the Clique series, Massie, Claire, Alicia, Dylan, and Kristen continue their adventures at Octavian Day School. The Love Struck Valentine's Day Dance is rapidly approaching, and all of the girls have set their eye on that special someone. However, when Alicia's Spanish cousin, Nina, arrives and starts dominating Octavian Day School, things get ugly, and fast. Alliances shift, boys get chased, and the drama is served up fresh in this fabulous new read from Lisi Harrison.

4.0 out of 5 stars invasion of the boy snatcherS??? boy snatcher!!!, June 19, 2006
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
The girls have returned in the fourth book in The Clique series, and they aren't happy in the least.

Alicia's Spanish, and gorgeous, cousin is visiting, and the girls' boys are staring at her instead of them.

Claire is overrun with emotions when Cam begins avoiding her, anger, sadness, and fear to name a few. But Cam's avoidence doesn't stop there, it also leads Claire into doing something that will hurt them both.

Massie is disgusted when Derrington's eyes linger a little too long on Alicia's cousin just like all the other girls. It looks like she needs to do some serious relationship adjustments.

Will the girls survive this invasion?

5.0 out of 5 stars So far, the best in the series, January 4, 2006
By
This review is from: The Clique #4: Invasion of the Boy Snatchers (Clique Series) (Paperback)
In my opinion, this is by far the best book in the series. It all starts out with a little secret. Massie knows that Claires parents are planning on moving to Chicago, but claire doesn't. It turns out to be all happy-go-lucky for Massie and Claire. Massies father, in trying to persuade Claires Dad to let them stay, decides to offer him a higher pay, and to remodel and rebuild the guest house. So for the time being, Claires family is staying with Massie in her house.
To add to all the drama, Alicias Spanish cousin is visiting for the semester, the drop-dead gorgeous Nina. All the boys are wowed by Nina, even some of the girls in Massie clique are impressed by her style. Truth be told, Massie is none too happy about Nina visiting.
With the approaching Valentines dance, the girls are expecting to have a date. In order to go with the cute boy they like, they must shoot him with a velcro-tipped arrow. Massie is expecting to not only go with Derrington, but to be crowned the most cutest couple there too. Dirty and cruel, Nina announces to Massies clique that if they aren't angels to her she will turn against them and take everyone one of their dream dates to the dance with her.
Next, as the situation of sharing a bedroom with claire is worsening, Massies valuables start to show up missing. But, who is to blame, Claire? Nina? Alicia?
Once again, the mean side of Massie is shown as they take revenge on the theft of all their items at the Valentines dance.
But who is it that she is going to take down this time, Nina? Claire? Alicia? Or maybe Dylan and Kristen? Although many times they are harsh and cruel, their delicate sides are also shown in this enchanting novel. Claire with her fortune telling candy hearts and Massie feeling bubbly and wobbly around her crush.
Who will they take down this time in, The Clique; Invasion of the Boy Snatchers.
