4.0 out of 5 stars timeless info May 9, 2014

I have worked in newspaper advertising for many years and this small book contains a lot of useful info that should be taught to people entering the business. It covers the importance of advertising regularly, some good thoughts on circulation and some good principles on ad design. I would encourage business owners to read this book as well.

This is like a walk back in time that gives a perspective on the business of advertising and marketing communications. It's quick, simple and in a way, inspiring.

A good read if you're interested in the history of advertising and perhaps a decent resource for analyzing the profession in its earliest stages.
