This show is one of the best. If you're about positivity, love, community, hope and our connection to each other on this planet, you'll love it. It's story line is powerful, suspensful and keeps you guessing, wondering what's next. Kiefer is awesome as usual. The cast includes other notable actresses/actors who add even more depth, making this a notch show. I can't wait to see upcoming episodes.

What can I say - this is one of the best series around. Great story line and actors. We are all connected.

Touch is a great program. I recommend it for anyone with some interest in alternative manifestations of higher consciousness. The quality of the program is well beyond the norm.

In the second season they sold out the show to chase scenes, murder, and intrigue
The first season was excellent....magical. It gave you so much to contemplate about the nature of our very nature as human beings.
I was so disappointed when the second season abandoned this deep and magical direction and became a simple, violent, and boring action series.

We watched the first season of Touch, becoming fans of the plot. The "harmonic convergence" of stories based on an understanding of universal order, creating simultaneous lessening of psychic pain all over the world was an enthralling concept. We had some questions about Kiefer Sutherland's script - when would it be more than calling, "Jake! Jake!". And we wondered how the parent of such a miracle child could keep leaving him on others' doorsteps in order to go on quests created by that child's needs. But overall, it was at least a 5 star idea in a 4 star package. And the possibilities were sure to keep the series going for quite some time.

This season is different, sadly. Did they make the mistake of getting new writers? Or are we going back to "Heroes"? Instead of a plot/homage to ideas like "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close", we are back in shoot-em-up and cloak and dagger themes where Jake is conveniently out of the picture - either at school (who would have thought it) or sitting at a computer in a newspaper office. Granted, that takes Sutherland away from, "Jake! Jake!" But it also takes away the magnetic power of the first season. The tension is still often very well done. The trouble is, that's about all there is now.

The first season of TOUCH was almost Miraculous it was so good. Great writing, great acting, and one of the most engrossing concepts and a world view I never thought I would see television in this age of thoughtless, bad programming. I bought and have watched Season 1 again and again. Then Season 2, despite great anticipation, not so much. The show has taken the focus from Jake, Martin, and the power of numbers and the binding red thread. I think the show has become unhinged, unmiraculous; a great drama fallen to network standards. I don't want to deconstruct all the details, but I have a question for people watching Season 2. There are many changes, but; for example, of creeping mediocrity in the details...who is the Guillermo guy? Why is he in the story and what does he do for move the plot forward? Why is he killing off the 36? And why is he there at all? Puzzlement. Anyway I am still watching and hoping the show gets backs to its basics and brilliant original concepts of a connected world. But for now it seems like not so much.

The first season of Touch was a revelation. The violence was minimal. The story was about connection and oneness. This season, I guess they wanted better ratings so they added in a serial killer and have been making it all about bad guys trying to use the children for their greedy or evil purposes. The father started out as almost the opposite of Jack Bauer of 24 (hated guns etc.). Now J Baum is a crack shot and is able to beat people up (always in self-defense, of course). It's starting to improve as we get toward the end of the season but it is like most shows now, just with a "supernatural" twist instead of being unique and wonderful. EVERY episode of the first season made me cry (in a good way). Every episode was about heroism and beauty. Now, it's much like the rest of the other dreck on tv but still a bit better because it has some of the original elements in it. I hope they have a season 3 and I hope they redeem the show.

This is a great series about signs and coincidences from God, that lead 36 gifted people on the earth. The writers do a great job of coming up with the signs through the numbers. I would give it 5 stars but this year they have upped the violence to be very graphic which is unnecessary. Do not let children watch this. TV14, but it does not need to be. It could have been a family show.
