The product is solidly built. After the novelty wears off, I and my wife are scratching our heads what we are going to use it for. It is very loud and there is no volume adjustment. After a few times using it, we couldn't stand the shocking loudness in the mornings. If you are a really heavy sleeper and need a thunder to wake you up in the mornings, this thing would do it for you.
