5.0 out of 5 stars The Don't Write 'em Like This Anymore
A leisurely, witty, erudite, philosophical, rousing romance/adventure/male bonding/road novel from a more civilized time.

I've loved it since I encountered it in college 50 years ago and just bought it for my Kindle.

The long life story of a dramatic couple, hindered by every possible obstacle the middle ages can throw at a couple. Recommended only for avid readers of lifes in-depth tribulations and literature enthusiasts.

Wonderfully written story. Got the ebook so I wouldn't give my revered print edition any wear...definitely admire how well written this tale is.
