5.0 out of 5 stars dishcloth/towel set
I have bought these from some where else and they are great. They don't get that stinky smell to them that a lot of others do. Just soak in a little bleach before washing and they come out smelling new. I have found something that is worth the price with these.

I am still upset about it, so thought I might as well take it out on writing a review. The dish towels are fine - only the dish cloths.

1.0 out of 5 stars This item would get no stars if it was possible., January 5, 2011

The dishcloths have shredded with very little use. I purchased this brand in blue from a store but the fabric is different and has lasted for years....that's why I bought these. I loved my first set and thought this one would be the same quality. These dishcloths aren't worth the money and are very disappointing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Work well, but breakdown over time, February 19, 2010

I got a free promotional pack of 12 of these washcloths at a warehouse club-type store a few months ago when buying 2 gallons of bleach. I would definitely buy again because they work well. They don't smell for at least a week, just use for a week and wash with the white laundry in bleach again. I haven't seen any change in the ability to withstand odors/bacteria over the months. The only bad part is that the washcloth fabric does breakdown over time much quicker than regular washcloths. So they do get holes from rubbing against things vigorously. Not like a paper towel or anything, but they just wear thin easily. I think I've thrown 1 or 2 away so far. The usefulness outweighs this though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally dishcloths that don't stink!, January 24, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I really hate stinky washcloths and these are a great solution! I have bought several sets and used them for more than a year with no shredding/hole issues that others report. Like any washcloths, they eventually get dingy but I've never had any holes and I bleach and wash on hot. The dish towels are great too but the washcloths are the main reason I'm purchasing again. After I found these I got rid of all other washcloths and my only problem is they are hard to find!

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy the right kind, October 2, 2011

This review is from: Clorox 6-Piece Kitchen Dishcloth/Towel Set White with Black Accents (Kitchen)
I bought some of the dishcloths (no towels in set) in a tan/white color with a different pattern and shortly after that I bought this set (black stripes). They were both Clorox brand. The tan dishcloths were thin and quickly developed holes and raveling. I threw them away. These with the black stripes have been wonderful. I have used for over 6 months and they still are in good shape. I wash them as instructed, and they are still relatively white (stain resistant) and feel to have held up MUCH better than the other ones. I have seen some of the tan type in the store, they feel scratchy and thin. These are like waffle cotton texture. I'm not sure why the two different kinds but it makes a BIG difference.

5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest ever, September 27, 2011

This review is from: Clorox 6-Piece Kitchen Dishcloth/Towel Set White with Black Accents (Kitchen)
I absolutely love these towels and dishrags. I don't use bleach on them very often. I usually just wash them with the regular laundry. I've had them nearly a year and no holes, no shredding. They are just as white as the day I bought them and I have cleaned up some awful messes with them. They just don't seem to hold a stain! They don't smell, still look new, and no holes, thinning or shredding. I see others have had trouble and wonder if there were some bad batches or too much Clorox is really bad for them? I'm seeking them out and buying as gifts because I totally love them. One of the nicest gifts I have ever received!

1.0 out of 5 stars holey, September 11, 2011
This review is from: Clorox 6-Piece Kitchen Dishcloth/Towel Set White with Black Accents (Kitchen)
I thought these would be great as they were to be washed in clorox and I use soft scrub with clorox to clean my sink. However the first time I used them with the soft scrub they developed holes in them. I'm still looking for a great dishcloth.

1.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Idea...Terrible Result!!!, September 2, 2011
These dish towels tear within the first couple of uses. I didn't even use them to wash dishes. I only wiped down my granite counter tops with them. I thought after I used the first one that it was just a defective one...I later learned that all of the cloths in my multi-pack did the same thing. What a shame! They really do avoid the "mildewy" smell you get with other dish cloths/sponges. If you're looking for a disposal cloth for one or two uses--these are perfect.
