I've been looking for a healthier alternative and after using this product, I'm still on the hunt. It takes a few washes in extremely hot water to get grease off pans. I still think it's just the hot water taking it off. With normal washes, my hands are chapped and cracking all over for hours even after lotioning up. I have to use lots of the product to keep the suds going. It does rinse off well, I will give it that, and doesn't leave a strong scent behind.

Green Works Natural Dishwashing Liquid (bought by Clorox a couple of years ago) is the best dishwashing liquid on the market. It does a great job of cleaning, never makes my hands chap, and has no strong odors. "98% Naturally Derived" and "Recognized for safer chemistry by the EPA" is claimed on the bottle. It is excellent for cleaning granite counter tops as well as hand washing dishes. It is beginning to become unavailable in the stores, so I found a seller on Amazon and stocked up.
