Essential oils in a glass cleaner?,
By Janet L (San Diego, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Clorox Green Works Natural All Purpose Cleaner, 32 oz (Health and Beauty)
The idea behind the product is a good one. For most surfaces, it cleans well. If I use it in an enclosed space, like a shower, is a slightly irritating to my nose.My biggest problem is that it creates a film on mirrors and glass. I've tried different types of wipes - paper towels, terry towels, shop towels (lint free). And I've tried cleaning it multiple times, thinking the mirror was too dirty for just one pass. It's always the same, the surface is almost completely covered with a film that I can't get rid of. I rubbed my hand over my makeup mirror after cleaning it with this product, and the part I rubbed with my hand was the cleanest looking part of the mirror! The only thing I can guess is that it's due to the essential oils included in the product. Even though it's the last ingredient, I can't imagine why they put any oil in a product designed to clean glass.
