Whew, look out! Karen Anders spins a steamy, sexy, suspenseful tale of mistaken identity and international intrigue. Interior designer Allie Carpenter wonders why her twin sister Callie has no furniture in her apartment. As a birthday surprise, Allie decides to decorate Callie's place. When undercover agent Drew Miller comes looking for Callie, he mistakes Allie for her sister, and Allie is plunged into the secret world that her twin inhabits. Yep, Callie's a spy masquerading as an international arms dealer. But Callie has been gravely injured, and the agency she works for asks Allie to impersonate her sister and help put away the Ghost, a notorious weapons dealer. more a suspense thriller rhan a romance,

Interior designer Allie Carpenter decides to surprise her twin sister Callie with a gift by decorating her apartment. With her reluctant assistant Jason Kyoto at her side insisting orange is not his color, they break in into the apartment. Instead, Drew Miller thinking she is Callie detains Allie. He wants information about where she has been and the status of her contact with a notorious arms dealer.
Allie is stunned as she learns her sibling works undercover for the CIA. Once Drew realizes he has the wrong Carpenter, he wants to release the civilian whom he is attracted to. However, his superior drafts her to replace her missing sister. Allie agrees in hopes of finding Callie. Drew vows to keep the sister he is falling in love with safe. This is more of a suspense thriller with plenty of villains (perhaps too many as they crowd the pages) and exciting subplots to keep the lead couple hopping. The romance between the lead couple takes a back seat except for a few interludes that feels intrusive as they are on a mission with a clock ticking. Still fans will enjoy the agent and the amateur spy fall in love while trying to rescue her twin and prevent an illegal arms deal. Harriet Klausner

This was part of a series and I didn't get to buy this before it left the stores. I was glad that I could order this through Amazon. My order arrived very quickly. I will certainly order from Amazon again to get books that are hard to find. I always find good prices on Amazon.
