never before have i seen a more hilarious, fall on the floor, "i can relate to this!" collection of comical settings. i just cant begin to decide which one is most amusing. The settings imitate real life, and i felt like i was in the middle of the funniest sit-com ever. It literally made me laugh out loud! What a genius and gift John McPherson is.

The Close to Home calendars are a favorite of my entire extended family! At Christmas, these calendars always end up in the gift exchange. Then the rest of the year, favorite cartoons from the calendars make it into birthday cards and other correspondence. The humor is off-the-wall, yet it connects with the average person in a way that few other cartoons do. The situations are far-fetched, but there is a nugget of truth behind them all.

I purchased this calendar for a family member at Christmas time. It turned out to be entertaining as it made it's way around the room and everyone had a few good laughs. I will definately look for the 2008 version next year. It may become a tradition.

My husband LOVES "Close to Home" and was surprised to get a wall calendar for Christmas.
