Looking through this book is a good way to uplift your spirits,
By Charles Ashbacher (Marion, Iowa United States) - See all my reviews (TOP 500 REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER)
This review is from: Close to Home Unplugged: The Second Close to Home Anthology (Paperback)
There is nothing like looking through a book of cartoons by a master cartoonist to uplift your spirits and pass away a few idle moments. These cartoons that appeared in the "Close to Home" syndicated strip demonstrate that it is aptly named. The points of the strip are most often satires of regular events in our lives and they do hit home. Many major and minor events, from childbirth to grocery shopping are lampooned in hilarious good taste.
