3.0 out of 5 stars Will a Caribbean Island Forge Their Marriage?, May 27, 2010
This review is from: Close Proximity (Harlequin Presents) (Paperback)
Keri used to be a photographer for a respected paper, but now she's a stay at home mom, while her famous corespondent husband gallivants all over the world in search of the next big story. Frankly she's getting just a bit tired of the arrangement. Then Shafe, the newsman hubby, calls and asks her to spend six weeks with him on a Caribbean island. Just him, her and their fifteen-month-old daughter.

But they are not on Barbados for very long when Keri finds out he really came to work. He's going to finish up a story on someone who is on the island. Keri talks to her old boss who wants her to get an aging rock legend to do an interview. Their toddler calls every man she meets "da da" and it's beginning to look like our couple might not even be compatible in bed.

The road to happiness is a rocky one in this book that I could only give three stars to. The writing is fine, but sadly the story is lacking. I'm sorry, but a romance between an arguing married couple didn't work for me.
