This review is from: Close Your Eyes So You Can See: Stories of Children in the Life of Jesus (Hardcover)
This book takes stories from the life of Jesus and retells them through the eyes of an "as if" child who is present. Each story is told through the eyes of a different pretend child. There is one picture at the beginning of each story and the story lasts on average 2-3 pages, so the attention span of your really little preschoolers may not last. However, it makes the stories more personal for the child who can listen and is ready for it. The passages do get a bit sappy and overly sentimental but children typically eat that up! It's a nice way to get your children familiar with Jesus, His teachings, and His life.
