Promoting love of all people, even non-Christians, Reid has a highly positive message that more people, Christian or not, could enrich their lives by reading. "Close Your Eyes So You Can See Me" is a strong choice for any Christian leader.

On first reading I thought this book must have been written for me! No kidding. It reaches to the heart; God's love is for everyone. Anyone who reads it will be able to apply the message personally. As Bishop Reid says "God, I'll peddle, you steer"; a simple yet powerful message.

I'm on my second reading and plan on giving this book as gifts to people I love.

This book effectively combines proven self-help ideas with essential biblical guidance in a very practical, straight-forward manner. One's very spiritual identity and development is both challenged and encouraged in the easy to read passages of the book. An amazingly succinct, but powerful message for effective everyday living is provided in an easy to comprehend fashion. The candor and humility of the author is refreshing. Thanks for the uplifting and redirecting message.

Bishop John B. Reid book has brought me to understand about meditation and prayer. His ideas refreshing. He makes you feel welcome to find the joy of God. I believe it is one of the finest spiritual books I have ever read. I am awaiting whatever his next book will be.
