Can someone who owns this disc please tell us if it includes any sort of captioning or subtitling on the film and the extras? Deaf and hard-of-hearing fans want to know!

The disc isn't released until Dec. 9. However, every other Whedon series or television show I've seen, has a close-captioning/subtitling available on the DVD's, many with more than one language. Granted, this isn't from a major studio, I can't see why they wouldn't include a close-captioning track on the DVD and extras to please the greatest number of fans. Coming from a family who talks through DVD's, I prefer watching all television shows with subtitles/close captioning on, so I'd like to know, too.

Huzzah! Now I'd just like to know if the extras are subtitled/captioned...

I just checked my DVD and I'm afraid the extras have no subtitles.

Joe Paris says:
It does have English subtitles (along with several other languages).

Mykro says:

You will enjoy the 40-minute main feature with its excellent subtitles.
However, NOTHING ELSE on the DVD is subtitled. The musical commentary, the director's commentary, the featurettes, and the ELE Applications, are all unsubtitled. This means that the extra 2 hours of content is completely inaccessible.
Hope this helps you in your decision whether to buy this DVD.
