We use an extra bedroom on the main level for our office/guest bedroom. We put shelving in the closet for our office supplies and found we didn't have any hanging area for guests that stay for a few days. This was the perfect answer. It is elegant and strong and holds just the right amount for a day or two's visit. When our guests come we are not ashamed to show them where they can hang their clothes. Our guests are usually intrigued with them and love using them. These are unique and most people have not seen one before. We put two of them up. One higher up and one lower down. They are perfect because the fold flat when they are not in use and we have full access to our closet. We Love Ours! Highly Recommended!

I bought this for our bathroom and use it to hang my work clothes for the next day. It works great and easily folds down to get out of the way. It's built very well and could easily support much more than I hang on it. There is no skimping on the material used to make this piece.

These are, indeed, very strong and fold up and down easily. I believe they'll make my life easier in the laundry room by giving me more space to hang the clothes I don't want in the dryer and the clothes I iron. Unbelievably, they were delivered in 3 days!

However, they ship with 3/4 inch screws, which wouldn't even have gone all the way through the sheet rock if I had used them -- You'll need nice, long screws for the studs or toggles!

Also, I inadvertently ordered one of each of the 3 finishes. When I came back to get more of the chrome finish, I still found it hard to make sure I picked the right one. Check and double check!

I have purchased one of these and am already using it. I have just ordered the second. When I do laundry there are perma press items and other clothing I do not like to dry completely so I put them on the hanger and hang on this to finish drying. Saves me steps to the bathroom where I was hanging on a shower rod and also unclutters my bathroom from hanging clothes. My draw back is I wish it was a bit longer to hold a few more hangers. Otherwise I give it 4 stars. We did mount it with the special screws to make it more secure as it was not in the stud and it would be nice if they had added such screws with the item.

Got this model for our laundry room and love it.... it looks good and is very practical for hanging shirts/blouses right out of the dryer. I bought it in white for my walk in closet, where it is also useful....

saved a lot of trips back and forth between loads of laundry. Got it so I could also fold up, takes up so little room don't need too.

This product is WONDERFUL,just what I needed.
Remember to use longer screws when putting this on the wall.
The screws that come with the product are way to short.Don't even try.
Amazon, please let the company know to put longer screws in with the product.

This chrome, folding hanger is just what is needed when removing shirts, pants, etc from the dryer and hanging them up rather than putting in a laundry basket where they will wrinkle. When finished and clothes are moved to closet, just fold down this hanger until needed again.

Overall I am happy with the closet&laundry valet -- it is very useful in a small space. However, as other reviewers have noted, you will need to buy longer screws -- the ones provided are too short.

This is a well made, heavy valet. The finish is beautiful. My only complaint would be the screws were too short and I had to replace them with longer screw. Other than that,it is exactly what I was looking for to clean up my laundy room and provide space for hanging clothes that I am removing from the dryer.
