What I love about my Closet Cubby:

- The additional hanging rods which essentially double my little ones closet space (since none of her clothes are anywhere near long enough to need the full length of the closet)

- The 'flexibility' of how to hang the rods, they can be on one side or both, full or half length, depending on your specific closet layout (for example, once my little one grows big enough to have some dresses which need the full closet length, I can leave the lower rod on just one side and still have extra space)

- The shelves are sturdy enough to hold several home-crocheted blankets or a days clothes (which is how I see it being useful well into the future: 5 shelves = 5 school days worth of outfits, picked out in advance with no morning struggles). They wouldn't hold anything too heavy, but they are certainly sturdy enough for most closet storage purposes.

- Was a breeze to assemble, just pop it out the package, secure a couple of velcro tabs, insert rods, and you're pretty much done!

My only 'complaint' (and the reason I deducted one star):

- There are 'loops' on each piece of fabric that holds the lower rod, which might be great to hold baseball caps, however they are sewn down (rather than being another piece of velcro) so I cannot use them for my little girls hair accessories. Minor I suppose, but that feature really would have put it over the top.

All in all, serves its purpose very well, and it will likely serve that purpose in our house for a long time to come.

If you don't balance the weight on either side of the bottom extensions, it will collapse. Not my favorite . I give it 3 stars for the middle unit. Overall not happy with it.

I agree with the other reviewer. I am having a girl and the straps are made more for boy type baseball hats and not for little girls. But overall, it creates a lot more space in the closet.

I used this to seperate my new baby items by size. The bins are good for blankets and stuffed animals. I have a very small closet for my baby and this way I have a place for everything! Not to mention I did the baby's room in primary colors and this tied in perfectly.

I purchased this product and was a little skeptical of how much it would hold. Well my daughter was blessed with a FULL closet of clothing from friends and family. I don't think I can squeeze one more outfit onto the bars. There is no bend or sign of collapsing on the product. Very sturdy and makes closet look a lot neater. GREAT PRODUCT, AWESOME PRICE

We purchased this product for the arrival of our first son. Since closet/storage space is limited in our house this was a perfect solution to the problem. It's heavy-duty, holds lots of clothes, colorful, it's at childs level for easy access, and best of all doubles the closet space, perfect for little clothes. Wouldn't have had space for all our son's clothes without it.
