This thing has caused me so much stress.

Hard to pull the bag out-have to pull out the whole unit and if your bag is even the slightest bit overfilled it gets caught and tears when pulling out.

Hard to pull the bag out-have to pull out the whole unit and if your bag is even the slightest bit overfilled it gets caught and tears when pulling out. Unit comes off the track ALL THE TIME. Highly recommend you spend the money for a better unit. I bought this a few months ago and am now ordering a Whitney Design C9517 Sliding 24-Quart White Trash Can with Chrome Frame and Sliders SOURCE: Amazon.com Product Description, hoping for better luck! I only gave this one 1 star because you have to give at least 1 star to enter a rating.

I own and have been using this for 6-months. There are two major design flaws that this product has and several minor design flaws.
Major flaws:
1. Note that this is made with a wire mesh basket. Make sure that you never throw away anything like a bottle, can, boxes, or pretty much anything that can stick through the wire mesh because it WILL cut through your bag and or get the bag stuck in the wire mesh. If you don't throw any of that type of stuff you might get lucky, or the wire mesh will just rip your bag open anyway.
2. The bottom that the bag sits on is a extremely low grade plastic piece. This will break within six months with regular use.

Minor Flaws:
1. Basket falls apart fairly regularly when pulling the bag out. It is faily easy to put together but still a pain.
2. The design of the basket requires you to pull the entire assembly out in order to get the bag out and replace it with a new bag.

I DO NOT recommend purchasing this trash bin as you will find yourself replacing it within 6 months, just like I am doing today.

Verified Purchase
I purchased two of these and installed them under my kitchen sink. They serve their and fit great in the cabinet but two problems have arisen in use. One is that sometimes the frame of one of the holders slides off of the track. The other problem is that if you don't pull the unit out from the proper place the holder can dismantle. I have small kids who just grab it from the rim so I've had to explain to them how to properly slide out the holder.

Save your money and get a different kitchen garbage can. My husband and I bought this about 5 months ago to replace a broken one in our kitchen. This thing has caused me so much stress. I absolutely hate it. It falls apart every day. It is so cheap and shouldn't even be on the market. I now have to buy another one to replace this one. This time I will read the reviews carefully to make sure we don't make the same mistake twice.
