Very Pleased,

I buy a lot of albums, and one of my biggest complaints comes when a band releases a single which is really catchy, you go out and buy the CD, and the rest of the songs do not even sound like the same band. It's the Single Syndrome. I hate it. I am sure alot of others do too.Closure is a solid, consistent band who made a CD that contains 11 great songs. They have a crunchy, rough sound with just enough polish to make it complete. 'Look Out Below' was their first single, and a good indication of what you'll get out of the CD. Other high points (there are no low points, really) are 'Afterglow', 'What It's All About' 'Crushed (my favorite)' and 'You Are My Hatred' Sure, some people aren't going to like this. Most likely this will be because it doesn't fit their personal style. Think along the lines of Nickelback, Fuel, Die Trying, and Three Doors Down. These guys don't sound like copies of these bands, they have their own original style, but the target audience is similar. Buy this CD. You won't be disappointed.

Very Very Very Impressive,
This review is from: Closure (Audio CD)
I first heard the song 'Look Out Below' in the movie Darkness Falls. Since that day, it took me about five months to finally track this band down. I had no idea what the name of the song was, no idea what the name of the band was, etc. When I finally found out who it was...and that they had an entire CD out, I bought it without thinking twice.I am not sorry I did that. Closure is the total package of straight up, honest rock. Incredible vocals, great guitar, good basslines, great drums. Their songs deal with mostly emotional problems caused by girls (which is usually a huge pet peeve of mine) but that doesn't really matter here because the lyrics are really well-constructed, and the music is just so good. I'd tell you favorites off the CD, but to be honest, every single song is just as good as the last one, and still are. This CD is still in heavy rotation in my CD player, and I haven't gotten sick of it. I've been listening to it for five months almost. That's how awesome these guys are. It's like a ten dollar CD. Do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't listen to another album for quite a while.

buyer beware,

The cd is pretty good, but beware, it has a cds-100 copy protection that will not let you rip it to use on any a media player. As far as fair use goes this gets an F minus minus.

Another Great Unknown,
By
This review is from: Closure (Audio CD)
I'm surprised how sometimes the most unknown band can actually be pretty good. I heard Closure a very long time ago on Internet radio and their single "Look Out Below" grabbed me right away and has yet to let go. 2 years later I still hold that song close to my heart and I don't really know why. I'm not the one to usually decipher lyrics but this song just seems so powerful. Anyway, after hearing "Look Out Below" I felt the need to check out what else this band has to offer. I wasn't disappointed. The whole album is great. My favorite tracks are "Look Out Below", "Oxygen", "Afterglow", "Lie To Me". Here's the ratings for the rest of the tracks...
1. Look Out Below - *10/10 2. Afterglow - 10/10 3. Oxygen - 10/10 4. What Its All About - 10/10 5. Whatever Made You - 10/10 6. Crushed - 10/10 7. Lie To Me - 10/10 8. Live Again - 9/10 9. I Don't Mind (The Rain) - 10/10 10. Fragile - 9.5/10 11. You Are My Hatred - 10/10 Overall: 98% A This was probably one of the best unknown albums I have found because almost every track is catchy and can be played and enjoyed out of sync with the rest of the album. The only con with this album is that you tend to get sick of it after frequent listening. Other than that It's still really good for anyone out there looking for new modern rock music to get their hands on.

This is an excellent CD!,

This is a great CD from beginning to end. The album doesn't sound like one long song like a lot of today's bands do.
I think the future is very bright for this band! closuremusic.com - Boise, Idaho

A disappointing buy...,

I was waiting for this cd to come out for a long time, after hearing their singles "Look Out Below" and "Whatever Made You." I expected an awesome album, but I don't feel that they came through. "Look Out Below" is one of my favorite songs, but besides that, nothing really caught my attention.

How many times have you bought a CD for a great song only to find out the rest of the cd stinks. Not so with Closure. I heard "Look Out Below" on the Darkness Falls movie and was hooked. I ran out to FYE only to find they didn't carry it. Thank goodness for Amazon. You will not be sorry, I haven't found one song that I don't like. Hope to hear more from this band.

Good solid stuff, but nothing exceptional,

Closure's debut album is decent stuff, and is certainly worth the money, but don't expect any surprises here. "Look Out Below" is an awesome song. Its also, by far, the best song on the CD; nothing else (aside from possibly "Whatever Made You") comes close. Most of the other nine songs here are worth a listen if you like the band, but while they definitely aren't filler songs, they aren't anything special, either. If there was ever a time for me to be able to give a 3.5, this would be it. But since that's not going to happen, I give Closure a 4.
