5.0 out of 5 stars Tastes Great !
This toothpaste is great. Ive been using it for nearly a year. I found it while searching for a toothpaste that did not contain SLS. The only other toothpastes ive found that were "natural" and did n ot contain SLS i did not like the taste of - so this was a welcome find.

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT chlorine dioxide
After some research I think Profresh is probably a better choice. Closys uses only stabilized chlorine dioxide which is, in fact, not chlorine dioxide at all--it is buffered sodium chlorite. Buffered sodium chlorite is activated by the addition of an acid and that forms chlorine dioxide. But the problem is that this only remains stable for about 48 hours...

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT chlorine dioxide, September 9, 2009
This review is from: Closys Antiseptic Oral Rinse, With Flavor Control, 32 fl oz (946 ml) (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
But the problem is that this only remains stable for about 48 hours.

I proved this by adding vinegar to the Closys solution and it turned a yellowish color, THAT is chlorine dioxide and that is what you get in Profresh. I don't recommend anyone do this because if you add too much acid you can cause decomposition to a hazardous gas. I just wanted to prove the point to myself.

If you want to kill bacteria it is activated chlorine dioxide that you want and Profresh is probably a better choice.

This product was recomemended by my dentist. It's a wonderful product - kill the bad breath, and whitening your teeth. I paid 1/2 price compared to my dentist's charge (with monthly subscription with Amazon)

Highly recomemnded!

This review is from: Closys Antiseptic Oral Rinse, With Flavor Control, 32 fl oz (946 ml) (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
This is the most amazing product I've ever used. It cures bad breath, unfresh mouth, and doesn't taste bad. My dentist recommended it to me, and I became immediately obsessed overnight. A must use!

Recently had an appointment with my dentist in Madison, WI (Madsen/Hirsch) and told them how reasonably priced this product was coming from you and also mentioned the free shipping -- they were on the computer bringing you up on the internet before I left their office. Hope it gave you some more sales. I love Amazon.com. Thank you for being here!

It has very little taste yet keeps my breath fresh all day long. I use both this and the tooth paste and could not be happier with them. Bye bye Crest.

I bought this product here at a third of the price they charge at my dentist's office. It was quick and exactly what I ordered.

My dentist recommends Closys toothpaste and mouth wash to his patients who are beginning to develop gum disease. It works very well.

2.0 out of 5 stars Does Not Work Too Well, December 28, 2007
This review is from: Closys Antiseptic Oral Rinse, With Flavor Control, 32 fl oz (946 ml) (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
After reading all the previous positive reviews, it influenced me to purchase the Closys Oral Rinse. Unfortunately, the product does not live up its hype. In fact, I am disappointed that the product does not last very long, maybe 1 hour max of fresh breathe. (I did not even eat or drink anything after I rinsed with Closys). There were no detailed instructions on flossing, using a tongue scraper, or any additional preventive routine. I can't believe other reviewers rate the product so high??? Luckily, I found a much better product called ProFresh. The company gives a detailed preventive routine which only takes a few minutes to do. Even morning bad breath completely disappeared. However, there is a sight Clorox taste. To my amazement, I now have fresh breath all day.

This is the best -- and much cheaper than retail. Most people know how to practice hygiene (despite opinion of reviewer who last posted). This product is not the strong anti-septic sweet taste and lasts all day (when you practice good oral hygiene). Plus no stains on teeth.
