This is an excellent book. One of its most useful aspects are the instructions for building basic book-binding tools, a drilling press, a finishing press, and a box mortise. Most other books either try to do without these tools or assume that you have (expensive) professional ones available.

I would love to update this book to expand the finishing press to be big enough to accommodate binding 8.5" x 11" materials.

Also useful would be some information on sewing individual signatures into a complete book. That would change the title to something like, "How to Clothbind any book."
