3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty but flimsy
I bought this for my 5-year-old daughter's Bitty Baby. It's very pretty, and nice that it comes with the dress, tights, and booties. However, in less than a year, the tulle overlay is shredding, the hems and seams of the satin dress are coming apart because of the fraying edges, and the tights are too tight to fit over the doll's tush. It was also not very smart to make this dress with a Velcro closure, since the rough Velcro is partly responsible for the shredding tulle. Considering the wear and tear that a doll's clothes must endure at the hands of young children stretching and pulling them on and off, they must be more durable than people clothes. Spend a little more money and get clothing from Emily Rose, which is still cheaper than the American Girl company clothes (which, I must say, are of OUTSTANDING quality, although ridiculously expensive).
