More than just a clothes-drying rack! This space-saving pine pull-out wall rack is as attractive as it is practical. In addition to offering 18 feet of pull-out space for drying clothing or herbs and flowers, the easy-to-mount wooden wallrack unit features four Shaker-style pegs for hanging sweaters, hats and jackets, plus a handy top shelf (5 1/2" wide) for storage or display. Pullout wood drying rack expands to 22" and folds up to a compact 6" when not in use. Unlike most indoor clothes-line devices, the clothes drying section of this expandable wall rack is strong enough to hang heavy wet laundry such as jeans and jackets. Ideal for your laundry room, the wall-mounted rack is also useful for mud room or entryway - provides the perfect place to hang wet mittens, socks, etc. Sturdy construction: the solid pine pieces are firmly secured with screws, which are inset and covered with birch buttons. The extension rack is made of 1" x 3/4" pine legs and contains 12 birch dowels (3/8" x 22 1/2" ea.). Made of white pine, with dowels and pegs of birch. "The item was not as described. It holds very little, not practical for drying shirts or pants. I contacted seller twice and was told twice that they would refund my money. Only after filing a claim with Amazon did I get a refund."

I have been under construction building a laundry room and purchased this product to save space. It arrived when the workers were here on their final day and I needed them to put it up, but it arrived damaged, so I repaired it and hung it up anyway. The fragile rack was shipped in abox totally unprotected--no paper, packing materials, nothing! Just slipped in a thin box and sent off. The side of the rack was broken off and had to be glued. For over a $100 I would expect better packing and care.

Excellent product. Takes up minimal space and easy to mount to the wall. I spray painted this one as my last one acquired mold spots after a few years.
