Yes, these are Truly Traditional Wooden Spring Clothespins. Not the new flimsy pins that self-unclip and fall to the ground next to the almost dry towel. (Who knows where the shirt flew.) I saw this same brand wooden spring clothespin listed at a speciality web site for much more money and was tempted to spend more for quality goods since they were for Mom, who already tried the failing brands she found in the stores. And, remembered that blindly spending more was a method most used to seek better wine. Relieved when I got Mom's call saying how they were sturdy and strong like the ones you used to buy. I'm glad I ordered three packs.

The wood is fine by the metal spring holding the clothes pin together is not strong enough. The wooden parts of pins slide out of the metal because it is to weak to hold them. I have to take extra care not to have them come apart. They are not as good as the clothes pins I purchased at Target five years ago. Comparing them to the pins from Target I noticed the thinner metal spring on these. These are not as expensive as the clips that are better quality so that should be taken into account also. Five years ago the clips were a little over $12 for the better quality clip.
These are so inexpensive that should not complain. It would really be great if a better clothes clip that cost more would also be available.

These traditional clothes pins are superior to plastic clothes pins which break apart after several uses. I highly recommend these sturdy traditional wooden clothes pins for hanging clothes outside. They work exceptionally well over a long period of time.
