5.0 out of 5 stars There is much beauty in the lyrics., March 5, 2008

sense the first time i heard 4.20 i was hooked on kottonmouth kings, and when i heard about the upcoming release on cloud 9 i about wet myself. the song 'one day' made me stop what i was doing to embrace this song. the lyrics are amazing, and honest. from legalization to giving your child the chance to have a better future, to dropping love bombs to give the world a hug. never have i listened to one song more that this one. but it only continues to get better, from classic punk to head shop music can these guys dish out one great song after another. this is by far the flawless cd. never having to skip over tracks you can listen to them all. these men are more the rappers, they are artists, they are sweet mary janes top adviser, they see the beauty that is our world, they never back down, and they never change what they believe in. that one day freedom will be legalized.

5.0 out of 5 stars So good you will choke on this stuff..., October 25, 2007

KMK is a riot! Slamming the Adminsitration, corporate power, societies jokes and hypocracy. True rebel music.

This CD is off the hook!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Kings of Rip-Hop show their form!, September 22, 2007

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Cloud Nine (Audio CD)
The Kings of the Krown, the Underground royalty, whatever you wanna call em have returned to a more "KMK" style. The pure hip hop sound is gone.. Sure there are the straight hip hop stylings on here as you would expect, but unlike Koast II Koast its not straight hip hop.

There are several of the more "punk/Rap" style on here as well. The guest appearances on here also work well for the album as you can get Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko on one track, then you get ICP on another track, and Cypress Hill on a couple of tracks as Sen Dog and B Real both go solo on their features.

You also have a taste at the upcoming King Klick supergroup that is putting all of the members of KMK including the original man himself in Saint Dog back with the group, and Chucky "DGAF" Styles together. In the first track of the album you get a feeling for it...

Some people will still say its to much hip hop, and others will say its to much punk rock hip hop... But any true and hardcore King or Kween knows that this is the way that KMK has gone for years...

5.0 out of 5 stars KMK`s return to form, September 12, 2007

The Kottonmouth Kings really stepped up their game for Cloud Nine. I think it`s ranks up there with their best work like Rollin` Stoned and Hidden Stash II. I really love how musically diverse it is, which gives a little of something for everybody. Plus i must say that the rip hop songs are the best ones they`ve done since HS II.

Best cuts: City 2 City, Drunk With Power, Free Willie, Think 4 Yourself and It Ain`t Easy.

In closing i highly recommend Cloud Nine for anybody that loves great music that strays away from the mainstream garbage.

5.0 out of 5 stars KMK Cloud 9 AND Big B - More to Hate, September 10, 2007

This album certainly rocks - and I don't even smoke weed. Used to, but that's not important/you will know it when you tune into City to City or Think for Yourself. Totally cool CD. These guys rock (except when they are singing about politics or saving the environment - this is a bit mainstream, weak, played out-crap - dog on the pres etc...yawn...)

Big B totally is cool; big lyrics great beats (check out White Trash and We Can Smoke - redone to Safety Dance, but totally cool). MOST IMPORTANT - pony up and buy the set -- you will get the DVD ** EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING (again see the City to City Video).

5.0 out of 5 stars KMK is back!!!, August 28, 2007

After their so-so No.7 and the absolutely terrible Koast II Koast, I wasn't expecting much. This album FAR exceeded my expectations. The beats are tight and the "hard-core" gangtsa-rap sound has been replaced with evolved styles reminiscent of "High Society" and "Rollin' Stoned." Buy this album, this is by far the freshest release that has come out all year and the best KMK release since "Rollin' Stoned." Original KMK fans should buy this album- it was worth the three year wait.
