I bought this little bear because of the three previous five-star reviews. It was meant as a present for my young grandson, visiting us for the first time. He took to this little guy right away, hugging it until he fell asleep clutching it. It's amazing what a little "humming" technology can do to help a young child relax, especially in a new environment. He ended up taking this little bear back with him to comfort him on the plane ride.

Although the "purring" sound was sometimes hard to activate, the softness and the hugability of this bear is what attracted my grandson to this comforter.

On the back of the package is a small green caveat "Ideal for Ages 3 and up." That is, I assume, because of the low-lying grey ribbon around the bear's neck, and the possiblity that a determined toddler may be able to wrestle the powerbox inside the bear's tummy open. The tough velcro, however, will keep the belly closed tightly.

I bought the Cloud B polar bear for our new baby due in Oct. It is intended for older children 3+. when it arrived my older kids took him for a test drive. They LOVED it. The bear has a heart with settings to shiver when he is hugged and to have a light pulsating just like a heart beat. What can I say it even soothed me. Just a light gentle hug will activate the shiver or heartbeat. There is a timer so that your little one doesn't run down the batteries if he/she falls asleep cuddling with the bear. I love it so much I have ordered more Cloud B products.

I have an 18 month old girl, and as soon as she saw him she gave him a big hug. It is her companion at night and she adores it. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a simple stuffed animal to last a lifetime- as it seems it will.

We tried this little bear for a child that was having separation anxiety at night.He has been doing much better sleeping since he's had the Cloud B Polar Cuddle Bear.

I got this for my two year old. When I gave it to him, his face lit up! The surprise that he got when he hugged it was priceless. He calls it His baby, as we also have a two month old and he tries to copy us change his brothes daipers. The vigrating also works as a good soother when my toddler is having a bad crying fit close to naptime. Washing it is simple if it gets dirty. The vibrating portion is heart-shaped and is easily removeable. Just dont forget to take it out before tossing it in the wash! I will deffinitely be buy another one down the road for my newborn when hes old enough.
The vibration has settings to pulse(heaetbeat), continusous, or just when its hugged. It also has a timer so its not on all night long after your little falls asleep.

Got the polar cuddle bear for my little cousin. She is a little too young (3 months)to understand the squeezing feature but seems to enjoy it as just a teddy bear.

I truly love this polar bear, probably much more than my son does at this point. He is still only 4 months and does not get much use of it, especially since it is intended for older babies. But, I am confident that he will love it as soon as he better understands his surroundings and becomes more interactive with his toys. This bear has very small eyes, like they are closed, or perhaps he is very sleepy, which is very cute :-)

The most important part of the bear, of course, is his gentle shivering touch. He has a velcro lining on his side that opens up and there is a (heart shaped) device that allows the bear to "shiver" or vibrate gently for a reasonable amount of time (about a minute or so). There are many options for the settings on the bear vibrations: timer, off, and hug allow you to control how long the vibrations will last. Vibrate and heartbeat allow you to control the patterns vibration on the bear; Vibrate is a constant vibration while heartbeat allows a pause, like a real heartbeat.

The actual fur is very nice, it does NOT shed with regular wear and tear. Perhaps if you pinch and pull on his fur this will happen, which has not been a problem for me. This toy is great for babies and toddlers to fall asleep with. Heck, I'd probably sleep with it if my husband let me :-)

I bought these for my twin great-nieces who turned one in March. I liked the whole concept of the cuddly polar bears with vibrations as a sleep aid. I was told by my niece that they liked to cuddle with them. I would definitely recommend.

We loved this bear at first. My son loved to hug him and make him vibrate and the bears nose is perfectly kissable for a one year old. My only complaint is that this polar bear does not wash up well at all. I've washed ours maybe 5 times and the polar bear looks like he's been around for generations. Totally disappointed!

I purchased this cause I love polar bears, little did I know my 5 month old baby boy would also love them as much. This interaction bear as I like to call it snuggles and cuddles and purrrsss when he hugs him.
