4.0 out of 5 stars Cloud Road April 17, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Every child at some point has wondered about the world in the sky, what the clouds are like and hope that maybe one day they could travel there. Cloud Road brings this childhood fantasy to life through the eyes of a three year old boy. The illustrations are beautifully done, which will appeal to children. It's also a great beginner book for any child learning to read.

More About the Author

Born in Detroit, Michigan, I completed a bachelor's degree in biochemistry at the University of Michigan in 1999. After college, I met Craig Jensen, and we were married in 2002. Craig and I have three daughters, ages 8, 3 and an infant. I graduated from Tulane Medical School in 2008, and completed psychiatry residency in 2012. I am a board-certified psychiatrist practicing in Louisiana.

I am also a freelance writer and have enjoyed writing since I was a child. Professionally, I have worked on a variety of scientific and literary projects. In 2008 I wrote a Ph.D. Dissertation on areas of the brain in different species of primates. In 2011, I published a case report in a peer-reviewed journal about a little boy with Klinefelter syndrome. In 2012, I published a book review for the journal, "Psychiatric Services". I continue to review scientific articles for publication for various journals. In December 2012, I wrote the children's stories "The Two Princesses", "Cloud Road", "The Lonely Dragon", and a series called "The Adventures of Isaiah and T-Rex". I also published "How to be Happy", a short self-help book. I am currently working on a sequel for "The Two Princesses" called "The Third Princess" in honor of the newest member of our family: Genevieve Yvette Jensen.
