Was a good game for me 11 year old daughter who is not a video game player. Does not rely on speed, more thought challenging. My 5 year old daughter can also join in as the second player despite not having much skill and still has fun. Does not follow the movie particularly well, but still well done.

My children and my family enjoy this game. My son is 6 and loves fighting the gummi bears and solving the "puzzles" to complete the level. My hubby joins the fun and has the family laughing with the voices he adds while chasing the bears. This game is easy enough for little ones to play even if they do not quite get the concept and challenging enough for the older ones to enjoy it and not get bored quickly. A+++++ for no crude violence, blood, or gore!

3.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised, August 18, 2011
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (Video Game)
My expectations for this game were certainly not high. And when the choppy text of the startup screen first popped up, I assumed I was about to find another half-functional children's movie game. Once the game actually began though, I have to admit that I didn't want to put it down. I rented the game for an easy Platinum trophy for the PS3. And it certainly is that. Yet the puzzling in the game eventually gets pretty clever. The controls are simple and intuitive. Cloudy controls really well. After playing a number of really terrible games, full of invisible walls and bat controlling, this was a breath of fresh air. Don't expect a real challenge though. This is, without a doubt, a children's game. 2-player co-op is an option here; making it even more ideal for kids to play. While the 2-player function makes collecting and progressing easier, the system really seems like an afterthought. The camera isn't friendly for the 2nd player. 3 seconds off screen and your character dies. Not a big deal, since lives are unlimited. But it's still an annoyance. Anyway, if you're looking for a game you can 100% in an afternoon, or something to entertain youngsters with, then this is quite an enjoyable experience. And while Toy Story 3 still beats the pants off of this game, that game has some pretty difficult platforming and will take days to 100%. But Cloudy is even more user friendly than Where The Wild Things Are. Definitely worth checking out.
