It's easy to use and is handy, because it's hanging around my neck.

I will be buying a couple more because I always have more than one project going on at a time.

This counter has been a great help in keeping count on the number of rows I've crocheted.

Practical and pretty, I use this everywhere. It's particularly good for air travel as you can just hang it around your neck and the muggle TSA guys think it's jewelry. Awesome and useful - can't do better than that!

I have several types of counters for my knitting, but this one is the best. Knowing that it won't accidentally change your count when you toss it into your knitting bag is a very real benefit. I threaded a bright strand of wool through it so I can wear it around my neck. It also makes it easy to find in my knitting bag.

I purchased this with several other items and got free shipping.

The red Kacha-Kacha was my first, but after having bought this one, I'll never go back. As a person who totes her projects around in her (over-sized) purse, I always had to be so careful about where to put the red Kacha so it wouldn't bump and mess up my count- and even when I was careful I was paranoid it'd bumped up a row or two.

With this little guy, no worries! It locks great! I hooked it onto a large loop of wool, which makes it easier to find in my project ziplock baggie, plus you can wear it around your neck while knitting (useful if your a walking knitter- just don't forget you're wearing it :).

As was mentioned, it retails for the same price listed on here ($10ish) so unless you're throwing it on a larger order... not exactly a value buy.

This works pretty much the same as the little red row/round counter that all knitters and crocheters know about and use, but it has the advantage of a little lock that keeps you from bumping it in your knitting bag (and adding rows/rounds when you didn't mean to) and it has a place to put a cord thru to hang it around your neck.
Nice, basic little item to have in your bag.

A problem here is that it retails for $10.50 everywhere else that I've seen it -- online and in stores, plus they want over $6 shipping for a one ounce item.

It's a handy little item but overpriced at this shop.

I used to live in Japan a long time ago, and it was a paradise when it came to craft supplies, where Clover was the #1 name. They had many wonderful items that are have been making their way across the sea in recent years, probably due to the exposure the web brought. This little counter is priceless, and I make a habit of locking it after every row change, which is easy and effortless. I got tired of pulling my row counter out of my bag only to find that I had suddenly increased my row count wildly, even when the counter was carefully protected. If you don't use the safety lock and drop it, you can hardly blame the counter, since the only way to prevent it from increasing the row count if you drop it on its head would be to sell them permanently locked, which would make it a rather useless item. The only alternative in my opinion is to write down your rows manually, and it is much more work to pick up a pencil and pad than to unlock, click, and relock, which can be done with one hand in only a few seconds. (I alm likely to spend much longer than that looking for my pencil and pad in the bottom of my bag.)

I am planning to turn it into a necklace when I have time to make a braid for it, because I like the fact that it hangs upside down, the way old-fashioned nurses' necklace watches used to be (which tells you how old I am). That means that if you wear it around your neck, you just have to tilt it up, not twist it around, to double-check your row count. If you have ever gritted your teeth and resorted to figuring out what row you are on yet again, you will love this. (Not all types of projects make this easy, especially certain types of crochet patterns, and that goes double for fancy-dyed yarns.

I absolutely love this pendant! I do a lot of knitting and I love always having a cutting tool within reach. I am notorious for losing my scissors so this little thing is perfect for me. It's really cute, works very well and seems very sturdy. For those of you who have small children, you don't have to worry about them cutting themselves on this thing if you take it off and leave it on the table. The slots are big enough even for chunky yarns, but small enough that even the tiniest fingers could not get into the slots and get cut. Several people have asked me about this pendant and were surprised when I told them what it was. It seems to be a great conversation starter. All in all, I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it to anyone who works with yarn, thread or floss on a regular basis.

This yarn cutter pendant works great. It's especially good to take with you on a plane. You'll never have to worry about your scissors being taken from you again. It makes a pretty pendant and it's a useful tool as well.

Size Name: Extra Large 4.5"
I bought this because Lion Brand Yarn came out with a super cute pom-pom rug pattern ([...]I was disappointed by the rubbery plastic disks that are supposed to pass for pom-pom makers, and that you can buy just about anywhere, and decided to use the pom-pom maker Lion Brand suggested for this project. I'll post pictures of the tool itself, but suffice to say, this thing rocks. You need to add layer after layer of yarn (don't just do one layer, it will be lame). It just works better if you cram as much yarn on there as possible. Great product!
