The world's best squeezebox-powered rock 'n' roll band proves the accordion isn't just for polkas anymore. Wild originals boast funny lyrics and some of the wildest sounds ever coaxed out of a reed block. "Clownhead" is, in fact, dangerous (if you listen while driving): Songs like "Hippie With a Banjo" and "Dude" had me and my buddy laughing out loud as we drove along, and I almost creamed a yuppie in a Corolla due to hilarity-induced weaving. But TDA! isn't a straight novelty act. Rockers will appreciate the eight-piece band's straightforward cover of War's "Low Rider." All this -- plus cool polkas for the purists -- make this a must for accordion fans, and a true alternative find for anyone who likes their music wacky, weird and belligerently fun. Fans of "Weird Al" Yankovic, Brave Combo and They Might Be Giants take note.

This CD blew my mind! Great mix and styles of tunes presented in true electrified accordion fashion...rock, cabaret, polka, weird...this one has gotta it all!

I saw this group at our Folk Fest in Sept. 06 and ordered this CD the same day. They are so much fun!! Especially if you like something different. They are not your Father's Polka Band or maybe they are depending on how fun your Father is.
