I first listened to this cd when working on the children's radio show I used to dj and produce. I enjoy this cd for several reasons. To begin with the Chipmunks have better versions of several songs than the original artists do. Secondly, if you're a musician and you've had one of your songs sung by the Chipmunks, you know you've made it big: I mean it's like being animated on the Simpson's or acting with The Muppets. Finally, some of the music on this cd made for some great promotion spots we made.

My favorite three songs on the album are :

"Turn the Beat Around"

"Witch Doctor"

"Love Shack"

Overall, a great ablum if you're a fan of the Chipmunks or if you like good children's music that parodies/gives a tribute to popular music.

I love me some Chipmunks, but I don't think this is their best. I know the `munk haters out there are thinking all sorts of smack, but you need to give props to Alvin and crew where they are do. Good music and entertainment in a high pitch is still good. They have smooth harmonies and funny parody moments (done better in Chipmunks in Low Places than in this album) and tend to cover very good music making all their CD's a fun listen. The remix of Witch Doctor alone makes the album worth purchasing but, and this may be more of a comment on the style of music rather than the Chipmunks, but the dance music gets old fast. Overall, it's a great album but it just doesn't have the endless replay-ability of their other albums. My favorites were Turn the Beat Around, Witch Doctor and Play that Funky Music Chipmunk.

I thought that this album was GREAT! The songs DON'T involve campy dialogue to bog down the CD. The CD is a straightforward "Dance" album. My favorite songs are I'm too Sexy, Love Shack, Stayin' Alive, and The new mix of, THE WITCH DOCTOR. Please give this CD a chance.. I found it to be better then the other CDs put out after Chipmunks In Low Places. I have played that more then any other CDs by the Chipmunks... A REAL WINNER!

These poor chipmunks have been exploited hundreds of times since the early 60s. I am sure they are tired of singing stupid songs made by has been 80s artists. They are ready to branch out and do their own brand of chipmunk music. I've talked to Alvin and he is definitely ready to kick Dave out on his heiny and make a new name for the chipmunks. He wants new outfits too. Those long turtlenecks with their letters on them are really out of style now. I give the album a 5 because I love that chipmunk sound, butI think thte world is ready for the the real Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.

I know I would be biased if I said that this album rocks, because I just adore the Chipmunks. But setting them aside, I'd say that the beat and instruments DO pack a good wallop (positively-speaking). The songs are groovy and dance-able. The good thing about this album also is that there isn't any dialogue, and the songs are classics; people who were born and who had lived through the 70's and 80's (like myself) would love this.

Yo, the Chipmunks rule. This cd is awesome. If you don't like it, then you need a sense of humor cuz the Chipmunks know where its at.

I love this album! It is one of the best ever! It has a lot of dance mixes to one of my favorite Chipmunk songs!

Had this on cassette & loved it, there is no way you can be in a bad mood & listen to the Chipmonks - they simply blow the blues away. I've always loved them even as a child & more so now. They are great & this cd is great.

Oh...u'll miss half of your life if you won't listen to the CD of the Chipmunks..they are really great...I LOVE THE CHIPMUNKS--ALVIN, SIMON AND THEODORE :-)

I remember watching these guys on cartoon when I was a little kid back in the eighties, but DANCE MIXES! C'mon! What will people think of next!
