Welcome to CLUB DISCO, Dannii's AATW collection. It's not new, but it's fun & enjoyable. Dannii's music career hasn't always been a success, and her most recent live performances have admittedly been below her usual standards (have 30+ years of bullying by most of the world's media finally gotten to her nerves?).

But I love that she's always made the music she's wanted to make & not just copied what's currently the 'in' thing. Dannii's always focused on the music itself, not on what else she can milk out of the publicity; perfumes, books, bed linen.

I also admire the grace she's dealt with the above mentioned bullying; she's ugly (?), she's fat(at her heaviest she wore a US 6!), she's divorced (she must be evil), her sister is also in the music industry & has had more success (Dannii HAS been singing & dancing for longer. Since she was 7 in fact)... And on and on it goes.

Respect for the Lady, if nothing else.




The first disc contains D's 4 UK physical single releases with AATW 'You Won't Forget About Me', 'Perfection', 'So Under Pressure' & 'Touch Me Like That' (all UK club #1's), their 2 b-sides 'I've Been Waiting For You' & 'Feel Like I Do' (Dannii's biggest selling track on the UK iTunes store).

We also get her download only release (I Can't Sleep At Night) & her Australia only single release 'He's The Greatest Dancer' (Another UK #1. Not bad seeing as it wasn't released over here).


Also included with this collection is D's non-single tracks from `The Hit's & Beyond'; 'Love Fight', 'Gone', 'Sunrise' & 'Good Time's'. These are single quality, so it's a shame they didn't make it to a new studio release. (The mix of Good Times is different to the H&B version).


The best news for music starved Dannii fans is that her non-album iTunes only tracks 'I'm Sorry', 'I Will Come To You', 'Round The World' & 'Xanadu' have now been shown a bit more love, by getting a CD release.

I especially love 'I'm Sorry'. A great dance track, this would have made a killer single. Imagine the remixes!! 'Xanadu' is also a superb track. This is a chilled track, perfect for the approaching summer. (I'm hoping Dannii will do a similar style again in the not-too-distant future).





Also included on this release are 12 remixes of D's AATW material.

This is kind of like an updated 'Hits and Beyond'. Includes the recent singles "Greatest dancer" and "Touch me like that". Not a bad deal for someone who passed on the HB collection. Look for "Xanadu" to get released as a single. Hopefully with a ton of remixes!

This is a great CD set. There are several great new tracks and some really good remixes. If you loved Neon Nights, you'll love this CD set. Definitely worth purchasing.

OMG.... I was introduced to Danni by a friend of mine. I LOVE Kylie and he suggested Danni as well. This CD is more than I expected. The songs are great, with more of a club feel. If you like club music or modern disco style music this is a must have. Favorite song is "I'm Sorry".

this is like a greatest cd collection, but some of her more famous songs are not on it, like "put a needle on it". the remixes cd 2 is good.
if you are a fan of hers, i would recommend this cd.
