Stingily Rocks,
By Cameron (Chicago) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Club Stories (Audio CD)
I didn't think "The Purist" could be easily topped, but this album is even better. Stingily still has the amazing vocals as always, but the music has been taken top notch. It's like a party in a box. Honestly, if this album can't make you dance, then you're just hopeless. I strongly recommend this to any garage or house lovers. By the way, "That's the Way Love Is" could possibly be the best garage anthem in existence. Overall, the album just rocks. Thanks to Byron Stingily for giving Chi-town such a great rep!

Will Make You Dance,
By A Customer
This review is from: Club Stories (Audio CD)
This one is better than the last CD. Happy, U Turn Me, & Stardance are my favorites. That's The Way Love Is, is lackluster when you have partied and lived to the original. And it's really too bad that it and other Ten City CDs are out of print...

A Not So Happy House Head From Chicago,
By Angie P. "honeycoko" (Chicago, Illinois United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Club Stories (Audio CD)
I am a true "HOUSE HEAD"! I love bryon's wonderful, strong, and high ranged voice, but, most of the songs didn't move me like when he was in Ten City. ... I really enjoyed Searching, U Turn Me, That's the Way Love Is (of course, right?), I Could Be That, and even Stardance was O.K. I guess I was just expecting MORE and just became disappointed when I didn't get it. Well, I ordered the Purist too, so I hope this one will [be as good] and remember the Club Stories of the MUSIC BOX and Ron Hardy beating that wonderful BOX (if I could only turn back the hands of time). I give 3 stars only because he represents the HOUSE!!...
