I have always like this song ever since I saw the Matrix. It gets my blood pumping when I am working out. I finally was able to hear and track down the artist of this song while listening to Pandora.

I purchased through amazon, and the download was very easy, the song was uploaded and saved to the I-Tunes library. The song it self is truly a masterpiece, all 7 minutes.

The Matrix really did well with this one.

OMG!!! This song "Clubbed to Death" (Kurayamino Variation) is fantastic. I first heard it on Pandora radio on my iPhone while I was at work. The song was so good that I was up at 4:30 in the morning downloading it so I could listen to it on my iphone when I wanted to.

This song begins with a full orchestra playing a classical movie sound track. Drums enter along with an ominous bass synthesizer. It is punctuated by distant bird-like synthesized sounds, along with an odd, semi-guttural synthesized sound. I don't like the last sound as it seems distracting but it only lasts for a minute or less. The orchestra makes an occasional return. In the middle there is a melodic classical piano solo. The drums and bass synthesizers begin again with a return to the opening sequence which is a reprise of the first half. It ends with the return to the piano solo with faint violin triplets (possibly synthesized).

Overall the song has a progressive feel with a bit of techno electronica pop overlay.

This is a wonderful track that mixes classical piano with a modern trip hop beat and sounds. Highly recommended!

I love this song. Its long and beautiful. Highly recommended if you like electronic type music. Also, if you have it on your ipod, you get to see the cute guy pop up on your screen when you listen to it! Bonus!

This is a great song that's featured in the Matrix Soundtrack. I just downloaded this song from Amazon (August 14, 2009), and I can verify that the download DOES work. It comes in standard MP3 format, and I was able to play it on iTunes just fine.

Just bought the song from the Amazon MP3 store, the music file is Broken upon completion. Audio Codec corruption error via both Window Media Player and VLC player. There's no complaint button or redownload option. Amazon need to work on their renegotiation skills

the matrix reloaded versions were better. But if you can't get enough of this theme, its at least a long track.
