Once again you'll get 2 stylistically different CDs.The Ministry of Sound does this all the time to reach broader range of customers.I mostly listen to CD2 and 3 first tracks and "Launch" of CD1. However,I'm not completely sorry I bought this CD because CD2 is good. "Feeling for you" by Cassius opens it blends into "Don't call me baby" by Madison Avenue...the list is arranged smartly and it goes on. "Everybody Get Up" is pure disco sung by girls who sound like chipmunks -- smile! It's good. Some songs were popular for exactly 5 minutes in 1999 and sound a little dated in 2000. I mean "Big love" by Pete Heller was extremmely overplayed as well as "Sing it Back" by Moloko, so I would get something fresher sounding for your big party."History of Disco" by Love Tattoo is a great sounding piece though. CD1 is trance oriented but it's cheesy kind of trance. Sweet locals make those melodies and rhythms incredibly annoying. It's not a total waste of money because the songs are generally good and it's better to by them in a collection like this than in separate singles. I give 3 stars.
