5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Cd
This cd is UNBELIEVEABLE.... Terrific covers... a LOT of fun. Especially the infectious Ring my Bell. If you like the songs (you know them) you will have a blast listening to this cd. I am ready to go to Brazil to see his show!

2.0 out of 5 stars Swing and a Miss
I bought this album thinking it would be Klaus Nomi redux. Unfortunately, while Cordeiro has a lovely voice he hasn't the imagination of Nomi. These songs are done "straight up" (no pun intended) with no apparent hint of irony or subversiveness. It's entirely too bad... what could have been a camp extravaganza is just lame, warmed over disco.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, June 14, 2003

This CD is AWESOME! You won't find anything else like it. It's Raining Men is unbelieveable... he sings in at least a 5 octive range, and both of the weather girls' parts. It may very well be better than the original version. The cd has a great band backing him up and it has a live audience interaction to add to the party feel. Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding! And, barbie girl by aqua was banned in the usa, wasn't it? So maybe you cant even find that song elsewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Workout CD!, April 5, 2008

I absolutely love this CD! Disco plus Brazilian drumming, a combination made in music heaven. It's so infectiously happy & upbeat, the perfect tempo for the treadmill (fast) or climbing stairs (slow, every other step on the way up). And if you think he isn't camping it up, listen again, especially on "Barbie Girl" -- it still cracks me up after more than 100 listens. And I have played "Ring My Bell" so many times I actually wrecked my first copy of this CD. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
