4.0 out of 5 stars As Fun As The Original
This edition of Clue contains great grapics, cool jazz music (which they should have on while you play the game as well). The animation flows without any bugs and you can play different levels like easy, medium, hard. Not the best game available so wait until this one is on sale.

3.0 out of 5 stars Clue PC game
This game is good, but it wasn't as interactive as I'd hoped. It felt like an old Mac game adapted for the PC. It's still entertaining, but not one that would keep me coming back often.

One major gripe: It doesn't run on Windows XP and I couldn't find anything saying that it wasn't compatible! (It works fine on Win98)

5.0 out of 5 stars A spectacular Clue computer game finally made for the PC., June 24, 2001

All Clue fans remember the debacle of the previous incarnation of Clue for the PC. This version more than makes up for the last version. Go to Hasbro Interactive's web site first to download a patch after installing this. The graphics are breathtaking, the music gets you in the mood immediately, giving the feel of an old-fashioned murder mystery movie (sometimes it almost feels like a movie too!) and never becomes annoying. Top-down view and angled view are two of many choices you have in customizing the game to your liking. Little mini-clips of your "suggestion" in action play as you make them, giving a small sense of "re-enactment" of the crime. Animated nuances such as wind-blown curtains, wind howling outside and clicking on various ornaments in the room make for some nice surprises. I don't get to play with my friends on the board game so playing on this CD version is a delight. Rich, full graphics, beautiful music, customizability and its strong adherence to Clue's game rules makes a fabulous game you'll want to play over and over.

4.0 out of 5 stars great game, March 7, 2000

I played this game with a relative of mine and we both love the graphics, jazz music, and the '20-'30 design on the page. It's easy to load and take the time to read the instructions carefully otherwise you have to start the game again just when it's getting good. I'm purchasing the game myself so that we can play via internet. We are clue lovers since way back.

4.0 out of 5 stars Classic Fun, July 8, 2005
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Clue: Murder at Boddy Mansion (CD-ROM)
Clue has always been my favorite board game, so when I learned I could combine my love of Clue with my love of computers, it was a dream come true.

This game plays much the same way the board game does, with up to 6 players being able to play as the various characters and moving about, trying to find the proper combination of person, place, and murder weapon. The game offers some creepy music and lightning effects to help the mood.

My only complaint about the game is that since everyone uses the same computer, there isn't really any way to keep people from looking at your cards and checklist when it's your turn. Play with honest friends!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just Like When You Played It As A Kid..., October 11, 2000

The graphics and music for this game are excellent! I particulary like the fact that you have several different choices about how you play the game. You can choose the classic die roll version or a version in which every player gets the same # of moves. The computer will keep up with your checklist if you want it to. You can also choose to view the playing board two ways: like the standard board game or in 3-D. If you choose the 3-D version, be sure to make your character walk around in the rooms and touch the pictures, the pool table in the Billiard Room, the armor, etc. If you choose to view the game in the standard boardgame set-up, the secret passages are the little yellowish boxes. All-in-all, a fun game, but reading the directions before you start is helpful.

I really like this game, with all the fun features it is the best! I really like how it keeps the game quality but remains real! I love it. Although it would be only fun for kids 10 and older. It can be hard to understand at times but it is oh so much fun!!!!! Have a Clue of a Time!

This clue game is fun but they could have done a better job. It is hard to move. I always get stuck on the corners. But there are some good things. It follows the game clue very well. The graffics are also great. At the sound of the game you would think you see someone murdering someone. This is not true. All you see is a person, holding [something]. Then you hear a scream. That's all.
