This review is from: Clue Mystery Collection: Deadly Patent, Blackmail, and The Road to Damascus (Video Game)
I am a huge Clue fan, I have been playing the board game since I was little, and when I found a CD-ROM version of this game, I was ecstatic and HAD to get it. This is by far the best Clue game around, and in my opinion, the best classic adventure game, too. This is the game that turned me on to adverture games! I first bought and played this game years ago when I had a Windows 95 system. There are 12 different mysteries involved: three different plots w/ four levels of play, and each level has a different outcome. EVERYTHING changes for each level: the suspects are in different rooms, the who, where, and what are each different....so, essentially, you have 12 different mysteries to solve. The movies/flashbacks are not just voice-overs, but actual movies w/ actors. This is a FANTASTIC game! The only problem with the game is that I cannot get it to run on my Windows XP system. I wanted to replay the game (as I do many of my adventure games). It will install, but I cannot get it to run. So, if you have an older system lying around the house, you will love this game! But beware and don't buy it if you only have Windows XP available to you.
