Editorial Reviews

Review
A little gem of a book that distills the Bush mis-presidency down to its essence. -- Review from BuzzFlash.com

Bagley deftly demonstrates how misguided the Bush League has been since 9/11 . . . A gleefully fiendish read. -- Editoonary Rants and Raves

Titles booksellers felt would be hot for the holidays included . . . political cartoonist Pat Bagley's forthcoming, Clueless George Goes to War -- PW Daily(Publisher's Weekly) Sept. 26, 2005

Product Description
This wickedly clever parody follows our war-monkey-president as he blithely capers into the most hilarious series of pratfalls and misadventures since Vietnam. The illustrations and text evoke the original stories of a monkey in trouble, but with a twist that turns this terrific little book into a political parable for our times.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2 thumbs up!!!, October 28, 2005
I love this little book! At first glance it looks a little
bit like Curious George...but the similarity ends soon. Pat Bagley has a unique, irreverent and humorous way of expressing his viewpoint on our current president. This would be a great little gift for the liberal in your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kindergarten Clear, November 2, 2005
By Newsraptor "Frank" (Salt Lake City) - See all my reviews
This great little parody makes it kindergarten clear: a bad war badly conceived and badly executed. But what do you expect from a monkey?

5.0 out of 5 stars Sad but true, February 24, 2006
By H. Graham "bonzobooklover" (Philadelphia, PA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
While Clueless George Goes to War is packaged as an amusing little book about our idiot-in-chief, it is really rather poignant because it is all too true. You end up actually feeling sorry for Dumbya. Very entertaining, very cleverly done, and well-drawn. Pat Bagley is a genius and if you detest the imposter in the White House as much as the rest of the US of A seems to, you will enjoy this mightily; I bought multiple copies to give to friends and relatives.

Clueless George is a wonderful satire on several levels. Of course, it satirizes the Curious George books, as well as George Bush, Dick Cheney and others. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb
Americans took less time from D-Day to the end of World War 2 to defeat HITLER than George W. Bush's time in Iraq. Hel-lo. This book is superb and superbly scary. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!
An extremely funny book. Only extremist radical right-wing nuts who confuse dissent with disloyalty will hate it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incrediby funny
I thought this book would be kind of dumb, but it is really well-done. It has the easy-reader feel of a Curious George book, but the witty insight of a Daily Show segment. Read more
