This book addresses the main reasons someone has clutter and how to tackle it in a logical way - but I kinda wish it spent more time addressing the deeper reasons people hold on to things. This is the book for you if you've already been working on those issues and just need a little affirmation, motivation, nudge in the right direction. If you still need to work on the issues that led to your clutter, you might need more book than this.

This is a concise, simple and well written book. I follow Courtney's blog and was looking forward to her new book and she did not disappoint me. I read it through quickly in my eagerness and now I will go through and take notes.

3.0 out of 5 stars So far, not too bad January 1, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've read about 50% of this book. Some of the ideas are great, however "letting go" in earthquake country doesn't always make sense. She states about the "just in case" syndrome. Some of which I identify with. However, if you live in a place where "just in case" is right around the corner you can't just disregard things. I also don't like the advice "you may pay more" for certain things. Seriously? Who can "just pay more" these days? I think there are some good points but this is just not one I can take 100% of the advice. People with more money may be able to live this simple life, but not us. We can't just toss everything....

5.0 out of 5 stars Clutterfree January 1, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book has set me free. First step was to really read it. It makes sense without all the clutter (pun intended). Follow the simple lessons in this book and you be clean in just a few weeks. It is not easy but if you are buying stuff to have this straight forward book will help you stop.
The absolute best organizational book on the market.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very practical February 20, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The book is very practical and is addressed to people who want to "declutter" their homes just know. It gives advice on how to get rid of staff which is needless in your life. I expected more than just a simple guide. Some ideas are however very inspiring. I recommend it for all the "zenhabits" beginners.

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I like the simplicity of the book; not at all preachy (is that a word?). It is thought provoking and/but encouraging. I will share this book and author with my friends and family.
