''Lucinda Sachs has done all of us who love New Mexico, and anyone interested in our state's history, a great favor by bringing Clyde Tingley back into the public eye. He was a fascinating figure and deserves the renewed attention.'' --Jeff Bingaman, United States Senator
''Sachs has uncovered archival records, and spoken with many who knew the Tingleys, and has gathered it all in this historic volume, including comprehensive notes, an exhaustive bibliography, and a hundred vintage photos. Sachs' book is a valuable addition to the political and cultural history of New Mexico. --John J. Hunt, Albuquerque Journal
