I ordered this book because I needed to replace a starter on a 1992 Harley Davidson Sportster. I have never done any work of any kind on a motorcycle engine before. I am mechanically inclined. The directions were flawless. It took about four hours to remove the battery, shifter assembly, foot peg, primary cover, exhaust and put it all back together adjust the primary chain and adjust the clutch. I am very happy I could do this my self with the help of this book. The dealer wanted over $600.00 to replace the starter with a standard 1.0 kw starter. I bought a "chrome" 1.4 kw starter and the needed gaskets and oil for about $200.00. Clymer has a great book

This book is great for those wishing to work on their bike. You will need a few mechanical skills to get the most use of it.
