More About the Author

Author Ed Scott is now retired and lives in northern Wisconsin with his wife. Ed was a police officer for more than thirty-six years in Minneapolis, MN. until 1998. Ed is also a military veteran. He has traveled extensively and studied many cultures around the world and has examined religion and spirituality as it relates to human consciousness. Ed Scott has attended several universities and colleges around the country and has served for fifteen years as Board President of the Institute For The Study of Human Awareness until 2000.
Ed wrote Wisdom of The Heart:Create Your Own Reality, in 2007. A second book, Life is about Choices, will be published in October of this year. Ed writes in an appealing conversational style and often uses anecdotal examples when writing about the law of attraction, synchronicity, religion, cosmic energy, and human consciousness. Many readers have found his knowledge and his perspective useful in their own search for purpose and meaning in life.

I would safely say that this guide should set the standard by which the usefulness of any product manual should be judged or determined. It is impeccably detailed with clear photos of the various motorcycle components. My knowledge of engine-related stuff is mostly theoretical and I am not a really hands-on guy when it comes to dealing with mechanical hardware. But I have used this manual effortlessly to perform basic maintenance on my Kawasaki without being frustrated. The fact that Kawasaki has not made any noticeable upgrades to the VN750 in many years signifies that this guide should work for many model years of the VN750 (mine is a 93).
