There are few books available which seek to answer the big questions in life: Where am I from? Why am I here? Where am I going?

And even fewer are the numbers that ignite the inner empathy of primal recognition.

From the first page to the last, this wonderful little book is packed full of delicious insights and understanding of `who I am'. The chapter devoted to the Creation story is a monumental description, if it were a painting it would equal the `Sistine Chapel' in majesty; the penetrating depth and softness are unparalleled in anything I have read or heard.

But there's more and more and more.

Just started reading book 5 (for the second time! I never read books more than once...) and it kind of summarises what you get out of these books. The following is quoted from page 1 of Ringing Cedars book 5 (Who are We?) by Vladimir Megre:

"We are always in a hurry to get somewhere or get something. There is hardly a single one of us who doesn't desire to lead a happy life, find love and establish a family. But how many of us will actually achieve our desire?
What determines our satisfaction or dissatisfaction with life? What determines our success or failure? What constitutes the meaning of life for each and every Man and for all mankind as a whole? What kind of future awaits us?
These questions have been around for a long time, but nobody has managed to come up with an intelligible answer. But I wonder: What kind of country will we be living in five or ten years from now? What kind of world are we leaving to our children? We really don't know. And, let's face it, none of us can ever picture our own future, because we are always hurrying off somewhere... but to where?
Strange, but true: the first clear glimpse I ever had about the future of our country came not from statisticians or politicians but from Anastasia, a recluse living in the wilds of the taiga. And not only did she present a picture of marvellous future, but showed step-by-step its feasibility even for our generation - a design, in fact, for the development of the whole country [and the world as a whole]."

This is the best and truest interpretation of Earth's and Man's creation I have ever read. It echos the voices of so many of the Earth's greatest teachers, while weaving, in a simple and direct way, the intricate tapestry of how we came into being. Our creator is presented as an inspired, passonate, compassionate, and loving God - a true portrait free from the dogmatic view of a God who embodies the basest of human emotions, revenge, jealousy, anger, and severe punishment. It has opened my understanding of who humans truly are, and why we were loved into being.

I know I am in the minority, but I'd like to offer my views also. I think these books are lovely in many ways. I also live close to nature and the land, and feel it's wonderful when people are encouraged to discover new respect and love for nature and creation and our very important part in the 'Co-Creation' of our world. But I'm sorry, for those of us that do not believe in the literal translation of the Christian-based story of creation, that so much of the story is based on that. It leaves out so many people like myself that have deep love and reverence for this world and the powers that give us life, but have different beliefs.
Anastasia is a lovely creation, and she has many positive things to share; I'm just sorry that the author chose to tell her story as 'truth', instead of just letting it unfold as beautiful archetype and myth.
It shouldn't be necessary to ask readers to suspend reality to open them up to new ways of being.
The world is a beautiful enough mystery as it actually exists.

A new way of life, a new way of thinking. This makes so much sense. Much more so than the fear based dogmas.

This book is a continuation of the conversation between the author and Anastasia that was begun in "The Space of Love" which is Book 3 in this series.It appears that Vladimir has attempted to convey the import of this extraordinary conversation into bite sized pieces, divided over three books, these being the third, fourth and fifth books in "The Ringing Cedars of Russia" series.

The first book in this series within a series is "The Space of Love", where the importance of the creation of a Space is dealt with, a space where the unconditional love in the hearts of two people who merge together, finds scope for expression in the nurturing and development of its product, a child born out of that love. Co-creation, the subject of this book, deals with the further ramifications of the expression of that love, when the communion with the Creator is as natural as breathing, where one's own role in the perfection of the Universal Scheme of Things, falls clearly and naturally into place. In the next book, the conversation is extended to include higher aspects of who we actually are, our true capacities as Man in the totality of All That Is, and an inkling as to the real reason (highly watered down) as to why we, as a species, have been led astray.

"I will tell you about Co-Creation, Vladimir....write about the Creator's great Co-Creation and try to understand with all your Soul, the aspiration of the divine dream" -Anastasia. So reads the first statement of this book. It is the lost knowledge of the Divine Aspiration behind the Biblical Creation story of Adam and Eve, that is dealt with in this book. A vital part of this knowledge, is the art of imagery, the ability to envision our desires in clear detail. This particular ability is the topic of exploration herein, showing that with good visualization, it is even possible to practise bilocation and astral projection. Vladimir gets to personally experience what the effects of his personal visualization looked like, he was less than pleased with the results. This book also provides a plausible picture of the point of view of an Almighty, All- loving, Non-Interfering God, who expects his foremost Creation, Man, to use his innate strengths and other divine faculties to solve his/her own problems, instead of bemoaning them or suffering them in petulant silence. (Never mind that many of us think that He has done an Almighty job of Messing Things Up).

One thing that moved Vladimir very much in this book, is Anastasia's prayer to God as her Creator. The fervour of her impassioned prayer, of gratitude for the gift of Life, and glorification of her Creator, remains also with me as one of the highlights of this book.

In closing, I would like to point out a remarkable feature of this series of books. Each of them reads at an increasingly fast pace. Although the language and formulation of ideas is disarmingly simple, they have a power all their own. These books are filled with surprises and the reader is carried into a confrontation with his/her own doubts and inadequacies through Vladimir's questions and Anastasia's answers to them. The conversation gets progressively more subtle and one gets the sensation at times, of watching them from above, of being personally drawn into the vortex of this conversation and a vicarious experience of being part of it.

I recommend this book warmly to all, preferably after reading "The Space of Love".

Everyone, everywhere on the planet should read this series of books (and they are currently available in some 14 languages according to the series' description). Co-Creation is the centerpiece, and answers the questions I have struggled with since I was old enough to contemplate "why are we here and what is the Truth about God?" I have never been satisfied with what most mainstream religions offer up as an explanation. Anastasia makes it all beautifully clear and finally, logical. The range of issues discussed throughout the Ringing Cedars series is pretty much all-encompassing for everything going on now and throughout human history. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to read the whole series, and not just once. If enough people do, it will indeed, change the future of Man in the best way possible.

Co-Creation by Vladimir Megre is a powerhouse of information about the purpose and destiny of mankind.
The Ringing of the Cedar Series just gets better and better. Each book in the series about the recluse prophet, Anastasia, contains even more hope than the last.
Megre's writing style improves and becomes more compelling with every line. Anastasia's words of love and the power of our thoughts ring true.
This is an amazingly beautiful series of books. i highly recommend it to anyone who is worried or cares about the future for our children and for mankind.

I have stopped reading this book before actually finishing it completely. It is a bit "over the top". The descriptions of traveling to other planets, etc. are just too much for me. I am interested in many ideas and hypotheses that are not middle of the road or common but this book goes "where no man has gone before". I may choose to finish it at a later date. If the descriptions in this book are all true it is amazing and very positive for we humans, if not it is still a good story. I have started and stopped reading this series previously and tried to read it as just a fun story this time but found that I would rather spend my time reading something else. So my recommendation is rather lukewarm.
