About the Author
Arjuna Ardagh is the founding Director of the Living Essence Foundation in Nevada City, California, the author of Relaxing into Clear Seeing, How About Now, and The Living Essence Tapes Series.
Arjuna was born in England, and completed a Masters Degree at Cambridge University. He has maintained an unbroken passion for spiritual awakening since he was 14 years old, and after graduating from university he devoted himself fully to this inquiry, travelling several times to India and other countries, where he studied with and lived with a number of different teachers. This search found its fruition in 1991, when Arjuna met his teacher, H.W.L. Poonjaji in India who pointed Arjuna's attention back to the immediate availability of the Self in this very moment. Arjuna lived with his teacher for a year, and in 1992 Poonjaji asked him to return to the West to share this "open secret."
Arjuna has been travelling and teaching since that time. In 1994 he developed the Living Essence Work, as a way to deepen and stabilize awakening within the context of an ordinary Western life. The Living Essence Training started in 1995, and has now trained more than 300 people all over the world to be facilitators.
Arjuna teaches throughout the US, and in many countries in Europe. He is a lecturer at a number of conferences, including the Whole Life Expo, The International Conference on Business and Consciousness, The International Conference on Science and Consciousness, the No Mind Festival in Sweden and the Rainbow Festival in Germany. He is the developer, with David Neenan, of the seminar Business from Fullness.
