5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring, practical, and an interesting read!, September 5, 1999

This review is from: Co-Existing With Cancer or You Thought Living with your In-Laws Was Difficult (Paperback)
I happen to know something about mesothelioma, the incurable form of lung cancer that is the subject of Ruda's book. I have a very good friend who worked for Johns-Mansville which was the leading producer of asbestos, which causes the disease. Ruda offers a unique way of living with his cancer: he leaves it alone, and has persuaded it to leave him alone! Sounds crazy, but obviously, it has worked for him, and I see no reason why it can't work for anybody. The book fascinated me for its unique point of view, its reader-friendly style, and most of all, the inspiring way it helps, advises, and encourages.
