This is the first book I've ever returned because I didn't like it.

It's not that I didn't like it. It is incomprehensible. It's completely nonsensical. I cannot get past page 20, because it is totally incoherent.

Chapter 1 is supposed to be about business planning, but is actually about writing and selling information products as a business. I bought this book because I want to start a career counseling business, not information publishing. I also don't want to, as the author suggests, write pet eulogies and decoupage them on plaques.

I do not believe, as the author said, that "people consult a career coach because they want to feel dignified." I think people hire a career coach to find a job.

The second chapter, which is titled "How to Presell..." is actually about how to incorporate and write a business plan. Except for the three pages of chapter 1 which are repeated verbatim.

Seriously. The chapters don't talk about what they promise, the first 20 pages of the book are impossible to follow, the book does NOT (at least not in the first two chapters I struggled through) show how to start a career coaching business, and if this book ever occupied the same room as an editor, I'm the queen of Hawaii.

I understand that this writer has written 61 books. I hope she got an editor for the other 60.

This is the most useless pile of paper I've ever seen. The toilet paper in my bathroom is worth more than this book, and I'm returning it for exactly that reason.

Oh, and the cover, which can't be seen clearly online, has monsters and zombies on it. If I'd known that, I would have judged the book--deservedly--by its cover. It's truly horrifying.
