I congratulate M Lucchesi on this book , as his analysis on the 3 4 1 2 is splendid . The diagrams , as the other reader mentioned are very accurate , and very informative and effective .

Thought I would get this book to learn some drills and get a few good ideas on implementing these formations. To be honest it is way to basic, over 3/4 of the pages are whole page diagrams showing basically where A passes to B.
Would not recommend it at all!

This review is from: Coaching the 3-4-1-2 and 4-2-3-1 (Paperback)

I congratulate M Lucchesi on this book , as his analysis on the 3 4 1 2 is splendid . The diagrams , as the other reader mentioned are very accurate , and very informative and effective .

You have to probably think critically a bit faster when trying to understand how attacking , defending , building up play etc is done in Football ( soccer } . Its a demanding sport in order to understand it . You have to analyze it for months , years to really get it 100 % , and to try to coach it , as is my goal

For many - and myself included - the book is very direct and clear in regards to that - a clear presentation of these sports formations .

Watching your favourite team on TV , or live at the stadium helps greatly , when trying to connect these game tactics , and how they can be tested on the field .

And apart from this ( real important ) are organizational strategies that the Dutch in europe , some countries in South america and other nations in this worldwide universe of football on earth have applied , refined and perfected . In order to give their teams a Really high level of punch , goals and quality

These analysis like Lucchesi's s give us those insights we football lovers love so much . Tryalso the book ' Attacking soccer ' by him . Its one of the best reads ive ever had . The Quality of detail is enormous . Thanks M Lucchesi

Greetings from Chile
