This is an excellent book! I was impressed with how simple and well put together the information is. My basketball team is lacking height this year so we push the ball constantly into a secondary break. Coach Huggins' secondary break is so effcient that you don't even need a true half court offense. I would reccomend his books to others!

As an advocate of up tempo basketball, this is a good book for any coach to have who wants to learn how to coach this style of play.
Coach Huggins teams are well known for their ability to play fast and score points in bunches. In this book, Coach Huggins shows his fast break system, how to teach it and practice it, and the secondary break offense and sets he uses to smoothly move from the fast break to half court offense and to obtain quick scoring opportunities if the defense makes a mistake during that transitional offensive change. The diagrams are easy to follow and the concepts are explained in an easy to follow style. GREAT FOR RUNNING DRILLS. IF YOU HAVE THE SPEED YOUR WHOLE OFFENSE COULD BE GEARED TO THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY FAST BREAK. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE TEAM SPEED THIS BOOK IS STILL A USEFUL TOOL FOR ANY LEVEL OF PLAY.
