I was very disappointed with this purchase. The book said it had over 300 pages but the kindle edition is just a summary of the full book.

Not clear on Amazon at ALL! At least it was only .99.. ;)

I had not coached football teams since 1966, so I needed a quick review to bring me up to speed per the way things are done in the 21st century. This book provided a quick update. Thanks.

Very basic, and the Kindle edition is a condensed version of the original. Not for a fan studying the game, but for a beginning coach or parent. Game concepts are very basic at best. Pop Warner or below, not even suitable for middle school level.

Good for the beginner coach. Explains basic receiver routes, defensive strategies, formations and rules of thumb. Recommend for those with little or no technical understanding of the game.

As a youth coach with over fifteen years of experience, I believe this book is way too advanced for young players and inexperienced coaches. I hope all my competition buys it!
